The hidden world of Callisto - 5K WUXGA 32:9 widescreen wallpapers - 5 handcrafted SciFi / Fantasy Landscapes - PNG master files

Artwork images in this collection are of ultra wide-screen WUXGA format (5142x1440 resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio), which makes each of them a pixel-precise fit as a wallpaper for a number of advanced gamer screens, such as those produced by LG, HP and Samsung. State of the art Stable Diffusion tools were used in making of these images.The work involved painstaking multi-stage enhancement and manual editing of each piece, which resulted in the unique otherworldly yet realistic 3D look and the fine detail normally not found in a typical AI-generated production.

For uncompromising quality, images are provided in the lossless PNG format.

The inspirational source for these artworks was my long-standing interest in astronomy and Greek mythology. Callisto is the least dense of Jupiter’s moons (https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-six-moons-most-likely-to-host-life-in-our-solar-system/), and one of the six moons most likely to host life in our Solar system. In Greek mythology, Callisto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callisto_(mythology)) was a nymph whom, according to some ancient writers, Zeus fancied and visited intimately, under disguise of Artemis, making her pregnant as a result.

The collage features a meld-together collection of faux-fractal pictures produced back in September 2023 with the SDXL-based ClipDrop AI image generator. Each of them was generated using a slightly varying “3D Julia fractal, rendered with ray tracing” prompt which additionally incorporated names of certain parts of female anatomy (usually not associated with fractals). The result was one of the most exquisite digital image series I have ever had pleasure generating. The work of blending images together and pseudo-3D composing was done 2 months later in Leonardo.ai’s Canvas. To prepare the images for publishing within this digital art product, additional work was carried out using an image editing progam.
